Tim: What’s your favourite holiday?

Bob: Well, that depends. I like any that gives me a long time off school.

Tim: The longest break is summer, but that doesn’t count because it’s not for a holiday. But really, which holiday do you like best?

Bob: I guess Easter is my favourite, because I really like hunting for Easter eggs. My whole family makes Easter eggs and hides them, then all the children look for them.

Tim: That sounds fun. But I prefer New Year’s Eve.

Bob: That’s a strange choice.

Tim: I know but I love staying up late and watching one year change into the next. And I don’t mind drinking champagne.
